Hi, I’m Charlie Hill. I’m a director who moves between heartfelt, documentary-style stories and comedy that ranges from dry and deadpan to full-blown whacky. Whether it’s crafting something entirely new or elevating what’s already there, I’m in my element when ideas feel fresh, clever and human.

Why Hillogical I hear you ask? Well because..., I’m not exactly known for being practical. I can direct a national campaign with a skeleton crew and a handheld camera - but I still can’t assemble an IKEA chair without emotional support. It’s a curse.

My work’s been featured across national news outlets, and has picked up awards from The One Show, ADCC, CMA and a few others I can’t list without sounding entirely full of myself. I’ve made stuff for brands, bands, platforms, and people - usually with tight timelines, low budgets, but most importantly one very big idea.
